Early Planting Empty Early Planting

It's OK to start planting some "cool weather crops".  Some may include potatoes and lettuce.  If the seedlings start to show, you may want to watch for a frost and cover them with a light cloth such as a sheet or newspaper.  In the Northwest it can still freeze as well as dump rain, so watch the weather to protect those seeds from washing away or new seedlings from getting bit.
